Simon Antoine
General Manager

Simon Antoine, General Manager, rejoined the team at the InterContinental New York Times Square in July 2015. Simon was instrumental in opening this flag ship property as Hotel Manager, before leaving to become the General Manager at the InterContinental Toronto Yorkville.

Mr. Antoine began his career with InterContinental Hotels and Resorts in 1998 as Food & Beverage Director at the InterContinental Ivoire in Africa. Throughout his tenure with IHG, he has moved throughout the globe in various positions in London, Atlanta, Cleveland, New York and Toronto. Simon's background gives him an in-depth knowledge of the industry as he has experienced working in all different types of properties, from new openings, to full renovations, to major cities and brand flagship.

Executive Assistant Manager

Simon, a South Africa native, has had over 20 years’ experience working on three continents with IHG.  During his time with the company he has had a long tenure with the InterContinental brand, serving at iconic properties such InterContinental Mark Hopkins and InterContinental Chicago. Prior to joining the Times Square team, Simon oversaw the closing of the InterContinental Barclay as its Rooms Division Director.  
Simon's passion for the industry is a family trait, as his father is also a hotelier, so the business comes naturally to him.

Andrew Rubin
Executive Chef

Chef Andrew Rubin oversees all aspects of the culinary offerings, from crafting menus for In-Room Dining, Banquets and amenities to managing a staff of over 40. With more than 35 years in the culinary industry, Chef Rubin has served at helm of many heralded New York City Hotels including the InterContinental Central Park South, The Muse Hotel, the Crowne Plaza Times Square and most recently the Loews Regency.  He has a passion for creating menus that are reflective of the hotel; trendy yet green (ie: locally sourced) while still being authentically New York.
